Away Time

There is great benefit in groups that work together spending time as 'a team' off-site and away from the normal day to day pressures. Choosing the right environment for your time away together will help build a team spirit which will enable the business to flourish.

Penrhos is a creative and inspiring setting. This unique venue consists of a square of Medieval and Elizabethan timber frame buildings around a large courtyard with a pond in the centre. Exclusive use of Penrhos gives you total privacy in a safe space enabling positive results to be achieved.

Companies can use the facilities at Penrhos and organise their own time away, alternatively we can provide a facilitator to work with you to achieve your goals.

Kitchen time
However you organise your away time at Penrhos it is possible for you to integrate into your programme cooking in the kitchen with Daphne Lambert, who has been a chef, nutritionist and teacher for over 20 years. This is an inspirational time that focuses on understanding processes and encouraging creativity. It enables teams to build on their strengths and provides you with some delicious food.

Dinner time
One of the highlights of staying at Penrhos is the seasonal, organic dinner around a large table in the medieval cruck hall. Sharing food can do a lot to encourage understanding, friendship and affection. This is very effectively conveyed in the wonderful film Babettes Feast, where members of a village community who despise one another become friends as they eat and drink at an elaborate dinner. The dinner renews friendship, restores love and revives harmony in the community. If you have spent time in the kitchen during the day then most of the meal will have been created by you.

Treatment time
There is a treatment room at Penrhos and you can arrange a variety of treatments including aromatherapy massage and reflexology to help you relax.
